This Privacy Policy explains how Advertasium (“Advertasium,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Advertasium application and website (the “Service”).
1. Information we access
When you connect a Google account, you authorize Advertasium to access your Google Ads data through the Google Ads API using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope. This may include:
- Account and manager-account structure (account IDs, names, and status)
- Campaign, ad group, ad, asset, keyword, audience, and product-group settings
- Performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and conversion value
We also receive basic account information from Google needed to complete sign-in. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.
2. How we use information
We use Google Ads data only to provide the features you request, including:
- Generating performance reports and audits
- Producing optimization suggestions, ad copy, and keyword recommendations
- Applying changes to your Google Ads accounts, only after you review and explicitly approve them
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
Advertasium’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we:
- Use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features of the Service
- Do not sell Google user data
- Do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or creditworthiness purposes
- Do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models
- Do not allow humans to read Google user data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized
4. AI processing
Some features use third-party AI models to analyze data and draft text (for example, ad copy or report summaries). Only the data needed for the requested task is sent, and it is processed under the provider’s commercial terms, which prohibit using it to train their models.
5. Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored encrypted and are never shared. Access to data is restricted to what is needed to operate the Service. We retain Google Ads data only as long as needed to provide the features you use.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting and AI processing), under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
7. Your choices and data deletion
You can revoke Advertasium’s access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of any data we hold, email hello@advertasium.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
